I have a 2008 285xl with a 150 e-tec. Been reading post's about transom savers, i've been using the trail lock arm that's on the motor when trailering, my question is this going to cause any damage to the transom ? Been looking at the lock-n-haul to have as a spare or should i get the one that goes from lower unit to trailer ? Just trying to find what is best for transom.
