On my "working" engine I noticed while swapping parts that the cover of the fuel pump has a nipple which a small hose normally attaches to with a tie strap. This nipple has broken off in the end of the hose.
1) I have not noticed any problems with the engine as a result....what is this use for?
2) I do not see this available as a separate part - only as part of the whole pump assembly....can this be for real?
In a separate note with this engine, sometimes when I turn the engine on, the same beep and light sequence that happens when the ignition is turned on, happens again. I'm not sure that this is really a problem, but just thought I would mention it to see if anyone had any ideas about this...
thx,
