Trying to get boat propped corretly

out today, 85 degrees, light chop. 99 21 ss with 225 ficht, moderate load, 26 raker, one run 67.4 worked the plate up til it felt right and water pressure was stil over 20lb, more height caused loss in speed, rpms 6000. But the boat had ppower left, I actually got carried away and hit 6400 rpm.

So what do I do with it, I need to get the rpm at full throttle down around 5800 to 6000 so I dont over rev thius thing all the time when I am in the zone. But also dont want a dog on hole shot, right now it is pretty sporty out of the hole and the raker has single holes wide open.

27 Tempest Plus is my guess - Todd says they are the shiznit on Johnnyrudes, and with the PVS holes you can control the holeshot. A 27 would help get the RPM's down, and your water pressure isn't a problem - try the 27.
