18 Venom Question?

I have a 18 venom that i just installed a new gps on and i put a transducer on the transom but i loose bottom when i'm on pad does anyone else have this problem?

i think there is really only one spot to mount it?

its a 858c if that makes a difference.

the best place is the thru-hull, i had mine mounted on the transom but had the same issues as you, i moved it inside.
