I am currently running a Ranger 492 VS Merc 250hp Pro XB that has been a great boat (Always has been a head turner). I fell in to a heck of a deal on a 2004 Stratos 201 XL DC with a 250 XS mint condition. How do yall think this boat will compare to my Ranger.

It will not fish as heavy as the ranger and run a fair amount faster.
I hear the pre 2005 strats are better built than the newer ones too.
I have fished out of many types of boats and to me the stratos is one of the best all around boats. They are fast,built well and are nice and spacious inside. The only reason i would buy a ranger would be because of the money they give out with fishing tournaments. I recently bought a 2007 stratos 294 xl and could not be happier.
