replacing tail lights in a stratos trailer?

recently purchased a 2003 sratos 200 pro xl bass boat. while following me to a club tournament, a friend of mine told me that he could barely see the tail lights and turn signal on my trailer. It's only when I pressed the brake that he could easily see them. Where would I find replacement tail lights specfically for a stratos trailer? Anyone know where to find an LED version that might be brighter? Thanks in advance!

Last time I experienced that problem it was the Ground not being good due to a rusty ball I think. I ran a seperate gound wire and presto back to full illumination.

    Good Luck ..... PJ

so if the ground wire is not well grounded, your tail lights will be lit but not fully lit?

If you decide to go LED Check out Blue Water LED. They are a BBC sponsor and Mike Daleo is top notch, plus I think he still gives 10% off to BBC members. Do a search for Mike and send him a message. Super nice guy, great products and great customer service! http://www.bluewaterled.com

Correct. It's best if you can connect the grounding wire that grounds the trailer along with a good ground from your tow vehicle and not depend on the hitch.

Thanks guys for all the help. I checked all the lights as I backed it into the garage tonight from fishing on a muddy lake norman, and everything seemed fine so I think I am going to just leave things alone. Here is a pic in the driveway by the way!
