It remains to be seen........we'll see how Platinum's program works and go from there.
We've been without a Stratos dealer contract ever since the bankruptcy which made all rules and agreements between us null and void.
I can't see ordering 2010's from a brand in bankruptcy. Given the economy I can't see stocking 150 units in the near future of any brand.
I hope all goes well for you all Todd. I think we need C&O, as well as ALL the Stratos Dealers to make it.
nice rig, but the 4 stroke just kills it
If I wanted a speed demon I would not be getting an 18 foot boat wih a 150...the 4 stroke would not deter me at all. someone wanting a solid dependable nice riding boat is going to love that combo.
I have the same rig but 2005 and I will say I really like the in line 150 Yamaha 4 stroke.Plenty fast for me and gets out of the hole just fine.No messing with oil and the easy starts and longevity of 4 stroke vs 2 stroke engines is more than worth it to me.I also have a Yamaha 4 stroke snowmobile and its awesome.Don't let that 4 stroke scare you its nice.Any gain you get with the 2 stroke(WHAT A SECOND OR TWO OUT OF THE HOLE AND MAYBE A FEW MORE MPH ALL DEPENDING ON SET UP )is so small that the 4 stroke's +'s more than make up for it.Just my opinion but I would buy another 4 stroke. TOM

I saw a 285 at the Huntsville, AL boat show yesterday. The price on the boat was $18,995, which I'm sure it wasn't rigged with the upgrade's that Todd's boat is... plus it had the VMAX on it...but was still one of the best deals I saw there. They also had a Stratos 294 there for $27,500.
