proper set up for a 389 Javelin w/ 175 Intruder

    Currently my prop is 4.75 below pad, running with a 4 blade 25 pitch Renegade. PSI above 25. 4800 - 5000 RPM's.

I know I can move the motor up, I have room for both.... Would I want to raise the motor on the jackplate or raise the jackplate itself?

What are my best options to get the best speed out of my ride? Prop? coorect height of prop shaft below pad?

Would it matter if there is a hydrofoil fin on the cavitaion plate, cause there is one on there.

First, I'd get rid of the Hydrofoil. Check your propshaft height and adjust to about 3.5-3.75 under pad and go from there. I'd definitely consider going to a Raker prop for better top end speed, I'm going to guess a 24 Raker should get the job done for you. Keep an eye on water pressure and your tach when you make adjustments.
