In between my seats right below the center glove box on the base board is a black knob that can turn either way. I've always wondered what this knob was for.
Any ideas?

It helps to hold your center glove box in place. It clamps a piece of metal that inserts into a slot.

Yep, its a bolt...Keep turning it left and it will come out and you can remove the center box..
