08 294 Water in the bilge

I went out on Thursday of this past week to practice for a Saturday tournament. About 5 or 10 minutes after I stopped at my first fishing spot my auto bilge started pumping. My first thought was I had left the plug out but I checked and it was in. It continued to pump after every stop throughout the trip. I made sure on Saturday that I got the plug good and tight, but the same thing happened. Any clues? And since the boat is just over a year old could this be a warranty issue?

    Thanks

If it is not the plug I would look at your livewell plumbing... Could be a loose or cracked fitting or hose.

was your livewell pump on? twice on my 07 the cartridge motor separated from the housing for one of the livewell pumps.when that happened every time the pump came on some water went in the livewell and a bunch went into the bilge.replaced cartride both time and fixed. note happened both times running in rough water.

A cracked livewell pump housing can let water in to. If it's leaking that much surely you could see where it's coming from while in the water.
