Gas Mileage

I have a 1994 Stratos 284 with a 94 Evinrude 150. What kind of gas mileage do you all get on your boats and is there an off hand method of measuring gas mileage for a boat?

Thats a good question. I have the same boat pretty much. 1994 284 DC. 1994 Ev. Intruder. 30 Gal. tank and I have no idea how far I can go. I just got it last Sept.

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for! I new there was some formula out there, I just didn't know the specifics.

I can go a long way in mine if I cruise around 40gps as far as WOT I dont know , but I'll keep that formula in mind
