    Left ignition switch on

I installed new steering cable on the boat a week ago. What a pain in the but!! Anyway just got around to finishing it off. Accidently I left the ignition in on position. Would this have hurt anything? I havent started it but everything seems ok. Thanks for you input,
    Marty

Re: Left ignition switch on (stratos17)

If I leave mine on it runs the battery down. Might ought to be sure your cranking battery is charged. I pull mine out now, clip it on the caribiner thats hooked to my kill switch, and toss it up under the console.
