Hey guys, thanks for all the useful info on the boards.

I am asking this for my brother in law. (no PC) He just got this boat when his dad died and doesn't really know much about it. He has fished it with his dad but they didn't talk about the boat much.

The set up when he got it was to radical for him to drive, motor was real high on the jack plate and had a mile high rooster tail. Now he got a GPS for Christmas and is running 56.6 with a renegade 25 after lowering the JP to get his RPM down from 7000.(I think his tach is off a little) He is getting much better hole shot but RPMs are still high, sometimes rev over 6000, close to 6400. He wants to know what is the best set up for this boat. Some guys in a club we fish say a raker 24 is butter.
