    Water pressure excessive

After installing a Bob's Nosecone with low water pickup, I've raised my engine to propshaft even with pad. Now, however, my water pressure is 30-40 psi and above (pegging the needle) at high speed. Can I hurt the engine with this (blowing seals etc.) or is it OK. There are five low water inlets. Should I plug two??

    Thanks!!
