I live in south central kentucky. I would say average winter temps at night are around in the teens. I have a 1999 Evinrude 175 Ficht. I have already changed the lower unit oil. I will also add stabil to the fuel. I plan on using it at least a couple times a month to crappie fish. I keep it covered in a barn when I am not using it. Just wondering if I have to winterize it or any suggestions would be appreciated this is my first boat.
Since you've taken care of the lower unit and stabilized the fuel, I see no reason to fog it if you are going to use it every couple of weeks.....

I also live in south central KY and fish a couple of times a month during the winter. All I do is add stabil to the gas and change the lower unit fluid just like you described and it has worked for my 99 150 ficht for the last several years.
The only other thing I do is after getting back home I store my motor in the down position for a couple of days to make sure all the water drained out of the motor.
I see in your profile where you are from Scottsville. I fish Barren 10-15 times a year. Keep an eye out for a white Javelin with blue stripes with a 150 Evinrude. I normally fish above Browns Ford stop and say hello.
thata all i do in the winter, change the LU oil and stabilize the gas, i use it about twice a month in the winter too.
