New Pictures of the "Old" Ride

With all of the pics getting posted of boats, it made me want to post a few more of mine. It was all detailed up this weekend so I snapped a few pics. If you haven't seen it, this is my '08 201 XL. The co-pilot is my five year old Jackson-Tyde.

The A&J Graphics is my side business I do to help support my fishing habit.

This is a closer pic of the Stratos decal I made and put on my hull (similar to what BassCat does). I think it looks good.

Here's the boat and tow vehicle. It's an '07 Mercury Mountaineer. It just has the 4.0 V-6 but I'm amazed at how good it does towing the boat. 16.5 mpg towing the boat and over 20 without the boat in tow.

And this is just one of my favorite pictures. It's from vacation at Panama City last year.

Way back before digital camera's I have a pic of my son standing on my old 1977 Hurst casting in the driveway like that. It's hard to fathom he is a Jr. in college this semester taking a "fishing class" that counts as a P.E. credit at M.T.S.U.

Enjoy him while you can, he will be off chasin skirts before you know it.

BTW I heard a "rumor" about our buddy Duane today while I was out visitng some friends.

Very nice lookin boat Jason. Especially the pins. What exactly are those colors?? Also, is that a prop security device?

Fantastic. I remember when I bought my first boat, my youngest boy sat in the driveway on the boat and pretended to fish from it. He truely is a better fisherman than I will ever by and he's almost 12 mow. Having a son with a common interest like fishing is the best. I asked him at bedtime last night if he was going to take his kids fishing when he grew up and he said "I guess so". I told him that he needed to remember ol' dad and come get me from the retirement home if I'm still around! Thanks for posting and have fun with your son this summer.

It is a prop protector/cover from Prop Gear. It has a reflective logo on the back to help with visibility to people behind me at night. You can also use it to carry a spare prop in to keep it from getting dinged up. I like it because it keeps my son from around the back of the motor and hurting himself on the ears of the prop.

Thanks. I make them in any color and ship them in that size for $20 per set of three (in case you mess one up during install).
