486 ALL THE WAY. tHAT IS A AWESOME BOAT FOR THE MONEY.
Never been in a Skeeter SL210 but I love my 486SF. Boat is easy to handle, smooth ride, great for fishing and skiing. I really can't think of anything negative to say about 486SF.
Not an owner, but have looked at both closely.
The one thing I have noticed of the two you have mentioned. The decks are bigger on the Skeeter (should be, its a bigger boat) and imo willl probably fish better. One suprise is the seating room is very close. You definatley sit deeper in the Stratos which gives a more "secure" feel to most people (ie. moms and kids) and the wind protection is better because you sit deeper. Go sit in the Skeeter and you will see, you feel like your sitting on top of the boat instead of in the boat.
They are both very nice fish-n-skis. The Stratos will be quite a bit less expensive (a lot of boat for the $$$ imo). Another thing to consider is will you be happy with a 150 hp (Stratos) or are you going to want more pulling power (225 hp - Skeeter).
Out of all the current fish-n-ski boats you have picked two of the best. You might look for a new left-over Stratos 200FS (if you like to fish more) or a new left-over Stratos 290SF (awesome boat that can do it all IN STYLE!!!) I know a dealer in smithville MO that has two new left-over 290SF.
