Somehow C&O managed to get some 07's at screaming deals. The black with red and silver is SHARP!
http://www.candomarine.com/page0002.htm
I just got an 07 back in.........warranty till 2012. Low hours. Loaded and immaculate.
I have it on my website under pre owned. I have a fleet of new ones also but there's a big dollar difference.
I have a 2007 that I have to sell... I need to order my 08/09 boat, but I need to sell mine first...
Check it out on the Boats for Sale page... you might have to scroll down a bit... it has a 225 Pro XS and it is white with blue and silver stripes...
This is one of the last 200 Pro XL's with all the old features...

Thanks for your replies guys, but I am looking to spend a little less. Maybe an 05 or 06. I probably should have been more specific.

NO problem EBS. I was just in there yesterday coming home from Bass pro. I live about 45 minutes from them. They are a great dealer and will tell you straight on any question you may have. Your probably about 7 hours from here, but its all interstate except the last 10 miles or so. They are located probably less than a half mile from the lake so it is easy access to test one. Hope one fits your need. I wish I could swing that teal 200, it is sharp!!
We have a 2004 that we just took in on trade. Boat is in great shape. Give us a call.
VOL,
Thanks for letting us know about those boats. I called up to Morristown and worked out a deal on that teal 200XL. Got the financing yesterday and will be there picking it up soon (after the test drive and thorough check up of course). It's almost unheard of to find a 200 ProXL with an ETEC for $25000. And it includes 4+ years of warranty!!! Can't be beat. Believe me I've spent probably 40-50 hours combined looking at dealer inventories throughout the U.S. Making call after, call, email after email. Some dealers had the same boat with the same features but none would come down on their prices to match $25,000 and they had their 2003 201's priced the same as that 2005 200 XL/ETec or higher. I originally started out looking for a 201 but you can't find one with an ETec (2005 that is) for less than $29 to $34K. I can't justify spending an extra 4-9K for the same year boat/motor and 7" with the 201. Maybe $26,500 or $27,000 but 34K, NO WAY! There was a dealer who had a 03 201 XL for $20,500 but that got snatched up with 3 days. Other dealers want $24-25K and guess what, those rigs are still sitting on their lots. See, if you price it right, it will go quite fast. Price it high and then have to play games with the dealers, asking for them to come down in price just turns me off to no end. Most people don't like to haggle and negotiate back and forth. If the dealer would have simply put the bottom dollar amount they could live with in the beginning, they probably would have moved more of their boats. I know in my experience, had I seen another 2003 201 priced below $21000 for the wear/features I was looking at, I would have jumped on it and never would have found out about this rig I am buying. So I guess I can say thanks to the dealers who over-price their products as they lead me to keep looking for a better deal.
Just goes to show you that you never know who is looking for what on these boards. I never would have known about that boat or dealership without your help and the help of others on this board. This is what makes this board so great, the people! When I get it in my drive way I'll post pics.
Thanks again,
Daryl

No problem DK, we were just talking about that exact boat on the way home from Texas Roadhouse. I would have been all over that boat if I were in the market, and had really pondered buying it anyway. I agree that is alot of boat for the money and with 4+ years warranty left. When you come down, drop the boat in Cherokee right in front of his place, best lake within 100 miles. I hope you enjoy and keep us informed.![]()
Daryl,
I'm glad you found a great deal, but all those prices you quoted by the other dealers seemed fair to me.
Well, you beat me to the punch, I was waiting to talk to the owner about my trade, he was sick, and in the meantime you got it. Took the day off Friday and was planning on making the drive.
If anyone else has a 200 pxl please im me!
Thanks

The prices that those dealers had to me seem very inflated. I started off being open to the idea that they actually might cost $34K but when i started checking NADA and other dealer website, you could see a pattern of who is consistantly over pricing thier rigs. It's taken me about 8-9 months to research, call, email and find my rig so when I see a behavior from certain marina's on just about every rig they list, it's pretty apparent who wants to make a bigger profit than others. No problem with making a profit but I know I won't be doing business with those shops.
JJohn, if you think they are fair and want to buy them at the prices they have out there, you surely have that perogative as it's your money. As for me, I will wait for the person or dealership that is honestly trying to move a quality product for their benefit as well as the buyer. I guess reasonable or fair is in the eye of the beholder and to me a 05 201 XL shouldn't be anywhere near 9K more than a comparable 05 200 XL, IMHO.
VOL, I plan on dropping it in that lake when I take it for the test drive. I'll put it through the rigors and see what she's got. I was told by many people that Cherokee is a beautiful lake. I guess I better bring the camera.
EBS, I'm not sure if you would interested but Angler's down on Okeechobee has a 2002 20ss w/ a 200 for $14,500. Great looking rig and priced right!!! NADA has that listed around $18000 and most folks have their listed for around $16500. Eric the mech. out there is the only one that's worked on that boat and is one of the very best mechs so you can be confident that it's running perfectly. Just a thought. Good luck and if I see another one out there I'll be sure to let you know. Take care.![]()
