How do I get the seats out of my 2000 Renegade 19?

I have to have my seat seams re-sown so need to get the seats out of the boat.

If I pull them straight forward they come about 6", and get very loose, but won't come out. It feels like they're on a tapered track. The bottoms are plastic, and I can't feel any release, or screws etc.

What's the trick ???????

If I understand you correctly you have the seat slid forward on the plastic track but can not find the screws. Have you removed the center section of the seat?

Stick you fingers in the seat and backrest where the center insert is located and give it a pull then you will find the screws...and for the record I have never removed my seats but it appears they would be easy to remove

I didn't know the center sections of the seats came out like that.

Have to give it a try, but now I'll be waiting a few months since I wrapped her up for the winter season just last week.

Come on SPRING!!!
