    Re: Boarding Ladders (21XDC)

Stratos is not putting that ladder on the 201's. They are using the fold up style. It is easier to use if you ever have to.

Here's what is coming on the 201's.

But, the e-ladder will work also.

C&O can get you either ladder you want.

Yep it is REAL hard to pull a pin to deploy the E-Ladder . Installation is a snap also.

    Re: Boarding Ladders (ChampioNman)

Fred, it doesn't have anything to do with deploying the e-ladder. Try using one to climb in the boat with soaking wet clothes on. You have a 3" piece of material to climb up. It is a great idea, but for the majority of people it is not easy to use.

    Right back at ya.

I like the looks of the e-ladder better on the back of a boat, but if my wife or child had to use one, the fold down ladder is easier, and that is the entire purpose. Besides, that's what Champion uses, so it must be the best, right?

Never said that was the best, it is a E-ladder, keyword E as emergency not to be confused as a boarding ladder . BTW, Champion also uses the same style as you have pictured .
But of course you wouldn't know that would you?

That is what I said. I like the looks of the e-ladder, but if my kids or wife had to use one, the other would be easier. Champion uses the same fold down style as I have pictured. It is affectionately known as a 'Champion' ladder at C&O. So, since Champion uses that one, it must be the best, right?
