Just bought 1998 Stratos 295 PE and can't wait to get it home!!!!!!!!

Just bought this boat with no motor. I have a 200HP Mariner EFI that will most likely find it's way to the transom. Or the Mariner could find a new home and a 200 Johnson could take it's place? Does anyone have a spec sheet on the boat they may be able to email to me? maarmand@mebtel.net

you can call stratos and get a listing of all wires in the wiring harness and where they are supposed to go. they will e-mail the list to you for free. before you try to put the mariner( man in a gray suit) make sure it( boat ) is set up for Merc/mar if not it is gonna be costly to replace tachs, w/p gauges, controls and such. find a really good and I do mean really good wrench if you are gonna undertake the change over it can become a headache in a short time if not careful!

Hi Steve, to bad it didn't work out with your boat. Would have made a nice rig for me! I think this 295 PE will be just fine once I get it rigged. I have the motor that I just rebuilt with about 15 minutes of run time on it and the controls. I will need the tach and a few other things but that shouldn't be a problem. However if I could find a nice 200 Johnson 93 or newer for a good price that sure would simplify things! Thanks for the info on calling Stratos. I will get right on that!
