I would like to get some feedback about which boat is faster with an identical engine. If I am not mistaken they are pretty close in weight. Has anyone had the opportunity to race one?

I've never run against one with an identical engine. The one that I have purposely run against was an 05 TR21X with an 05 225 Opti. I had a passenger and 3/4 fuel, he was solo and 1/4 fuel. He beat me out of the hole, I caught him in the mid range and passed him pretty easily on top end. Not too many Tritons around here, the ones that I see on a regular basis now have the 225ProXS and they will run pretty dam close to what I run. Don't know what one will do with a 225HO on it.
My buddy just got a Triton with a 04 250XS on it. One of my friends was on it and he said it hit 77.2 on the gps with a 25 pitch trophy. I guess he bought a 26 Trophy II on it and claims it hit 83.1. I think he is full of it. Anyhow, I am going to run against him sometime this week so I we will see what happens. I havent made it up there to Kissimmee yet. This month and next month should be prime time to fish. I will give you a shout when I come up there.
The big girls moved up on the last full moon. I'll be on Kissimmee this Sunday and then next Thurs-Sun for the Florida Rally. The water is low, so be careful. Just use your head and it is ok. Let me know and we'll hookup. Maybe I'll have my 29 worked by then. Either way we can hook up and go after some of them big green fishies...

Not too sure yet...A buddy is going to Toho with me Saturday and he might bum along Sunday also...depends on how sunburnt we get on Saturday......and how hungover we are Sunday...
Lake Cypress, then run down. I have a few spots on Hatch I want to try and one area on Kissimmee to scout out...
Allright, well I will let you know Thursday or Friday. I will most likely drive to the South end of the lake off Highway 60. That is the closest from me. I am down here in Jupiter. I think Shady Oaks is the name of the launch. Is that the best place for me to go? I havent fished up there in a few years so i dont know what is going on. I dont keep bass. I just do it for sport. If you want me to check out any spots for you I would be more than happy.
Shady Oaks is closed....It got destroyed by the hurricanes and is now just a boat ramp, but is privately owned. The best ramp would be the one at the bridge on SR60, right at the locks, or use the ramp at Grape Hammock...
Let me know, maybe we could meet up for a burger or something at Camp Mack....I'd like to see that rig of yours.
