1990 285DC price

A friend of mine is looking at this boat. Assuming it checks out is 4k a decent price?

I had a 91 285 pro but it was single console with a 96 fast strike 175 just rebuilt. When i traded it in i got $3500.00 for it so if it is in good shape 4k might not be that bad. Make sure you check that transom out good the older stratos was good for getting water in the transom and rotting out.
