I pick up my Z20 at the end of the week. I have a Garmin 93SV from my old boat that I want to bring over for the time being. I am having an Atlas hydraulic plate installed. No one seems to have an answer on how or where to correctly mount the transducer for the optimum side and downvue imaging. Any help would be appreciated.
You might want to try the Garmin forum.
Might want to contact Transducer Shield & Saver to see if they've had experience with the newer Z models. They offer different options for jackplate, transom, etc. and believe they cover Garmin as well.
