I just bought a 90 stratos 21'. My question is there are 2 manual controls under were the key goes for the live wells. What are these for? I know what the electronic controls are but what are these for? Thanks for your help.

On my 91 295Pro they are to open and close the livewells open to fill and open todrain
Life is made up of years that mean nothing, and moments that mean it all!!!!!!!!
I have a 92 and have the same questions. The switch turns on the pump that brings lake water to the livewells. It has a tube with a slot. Mine works fine. You can move the switch to aerator, and nothing happens. I would expect a pump would deliver air from the long tube with the holes in the side of it,but mine will not. I have been told that the pump that delivers the H2O will continue to bring in water, and expel it back into the lake. Thus, recirulation. However I ma not sure this is how it is designed to be used.
Any help is appreciated.
If you hear banjos upstream, turn and paddle in the opposite direction.
That's how they are made to work. And the two manual switches are to open and close the livewells. The recirc pumps will contiue to pump in fresh water and let out the old.
If the open and close valves are stuck what should I do?
