No reason for failure,at least I didnt ask, just happy it will be taken care of.
I know its been posted but I think it was for an e-tec, If I change to xd-100 does the ecm need to be reprogrammed ?

Sorry to hear about the motor problems.
The DI motor can run XD-100 and you don't have to change anything.
I would personally ask, it had to be something happen if it failed.... might come in handy later...........
Yeah I will, but most important to me is to get back on the water, my dealer is 3.5 hours away and their is only so much you can do over the phone
