I was wondering what Ram mount or ( other brand ) skeeter ZX 225 ( 2010 ) owners or using for a Lowrance HDS 10. I currently have a HDS-8 mounted at the Helm with what I think is the Ram 111, my plans are to move that mount to
the bow of the boat.
I am looking for the same height and clearance for the HDS 10 at my Helm. I know these units are heavy, I have had problems with the HDS-8 in rough water falling down.
Your ideas and any pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I also am looking into purchasing a 4000 antenna. Would like to hear the Pro-Cons of mounting with the Helm unit, also what would you need to do this and still take it off the boat with the unit for storage. Or where did you guys mount it on skeeter.
