2000 ZX202c gas tank removal?

I am cleaning out and repainting the bilge in my boat. I was wondering if anyone has removed the gas tanks and how? Any help is appreciated! Thanks

I would say that you would need to remove the top cap first.

I have a 1999 ZX202c and it does not look easy. Please keep us posted if you decide to do this project.

Well, if it takes removing the top cap, that is NOT happening. lol I want to clean back there, not make more work than I need to!! I cant imagine that the only way but we will see!!
