Does anyone have any advice for fixing a trim guage? It doesn't move. Also, my livewells let water in when in the closed position and also let it out when out of the water. Is there a particular florite valve kit I should look into purchasing? Thank you very much for any help with these issues, my wife would be happy if I didn't have to bring it into the shop!
their is a part that mount on front of motor and i cant remember the name but it tells guage what location the motor is in happened to mine once. just an idea to check before replacing whole guage to find out it was something that simple
The piece that is mentioned above is made of plastic, they have had problems with them breaking
The part that I needed was a plastic collar that moved a small lever that relayed the motor position to the trim gauge. The collar is on the front of the motor. I found the cracked one, went to the net and looked at a schematic and ordered one. The relplacement collar is metal so I would think it will be less apt to crack.
