I am working on a 2009 I 20 With the electronic dash. Its got the alarm system with the auto locks for the compartments. My problem is the lock part is not working. the alarm system functions properly but no auto lock. It worked before fine but now does not. I have looked all over for some kind of control for it or fuse without any luck. I called skeeter and im pretty sure i know more about the boat than they do. Can anyone help im sure this is not the first on to have a problem.

Do any of the locks work? I have seen this problem before on a couple of the cylinders, but never all of them. If it's just one of them get to an air compressor and blow the lock out.
They can malfunction if you get sand or debris in the hole where the cylinder comes up.

I am having a similar issue but it is only with one of the locks. Plus my security sensors are not functioning properly. Id be interest to see what others have to say.
I was told by skeeter it has to be a computer problem. they are sending a new one for me to try. I will let you know if it fixes the problem thanks for the email from someone on here. they were a great help

One thing to check is to ensure that your battery is fully charged. I heard that if your battery is low it wont work your locks ....mainly as a safty precaution. Just a FYI. Not sure if it will help your issue.

I have found Skeeter very responsive to any problem I have had with my 2006 20I security system. In fact, recently I had a problem with one of my locks not activating and they sent me a whole new set of them (7). Pretty good customer service in my opinion, especially for a boat more then 5 years old!!!
This is my 3rd Skeeter and I will never own a differnt brand fishing boat. Or motor; Yamaha is the best!!!!!!!!!!!
