Academy, BPS, WalMart. I like the softer black rubber myself. Ive heard the lighter ones are too hard and can leave marks on the hull.

The soft black rubber rollers will leave marks on your hull.

The polyurethane rollers will not. I have switched out all three boats to polyurethane. No more black marks, no more replacing the roller once a year. It's a no brainer. The saltwater boat gets towed about 5k miles a year and it's had the same polyurethane roller for 4 years now. More initial layout but your boat and wallet will thank you in the long run.

I got the one without the end caps cause it was cheaper and just used the black end caps I already had. They don't touch the hull at all anyway.

    Re: (fmoore)

I use the ones similar to what they put on the Ranger trailers. They are 4" but the end caps are a bit bigger but very flexible and over time they make almost a cradle-like bend that supports the bow while the center roller stays the same. They are clear as well and Academy has the whole set with bolts and all for less than $15.00 and i have found they just last longer.
