I could not find an exact place for this so I am going to mention it here.I have a mid 90's XP200 for sale.Engine was on buddies boat running.He decided to put a warmed up 225 on his Shadow and wants me to sell the 200 for him.We will take 900.00 for it.Ran good on muffs,lower unit is excellent,cover and all.We did borrow the stator because his new engine did not have one.

Dont know exact yr.Can get you the serial no.off of it if you wish.I cant remember for sure what owner said but will ask him.Think it was an early to mid 90's.Stator is a coil of wire under the flywheel,that serves as a alternator.His new engine did not incude on so we used it.Power trim unit is there a worked great,foot was perfect. can put on either "motors for sale or motor parts for sale". as for the year ..... xp was the designation for late 80's very early 90's ( to 1993) as with Johnson they changed from xp to intruder and johnson went from GT to venom. if you get the serial number you can tell by going on the johnson/rude/brp site and reading it as they have it outlined also Outboard parts ,com has it listed also.
