POWER PANEL GOING OUT

my push button panel is going bad on my 08 zx200.
dealer [ gulf coast boats ] wont order a new one or swap me to the rocker switches untill i bring my boat in and waite 2 or 3 weeks.
i think its BS that they know there equipment sucks and not have the dealers the repair parts on hand to fix the problem. new boat skeeter repair should be 1 day .

I would go talk to the owner of the dealership, or if you bought it there your salesman or sales manager. I would think that someone would be interested enough in customer satisfaction that he would want to make you happy, and come to them the next time you need a new boat!! What parts they stock is really up to the individual dealer, but tying your boat up that long isn't good business, either.

Maybe they want to test it before they order a new one.

I hate leaving my boat sit at a dealer too. I wish more of them would schedule your service so they could have you in and out within a couple days, if not the same day.

I have an 06 zx200, I bought it new. My panel went out yesterday, I called Skeeter this morning, a replacement upgrade toggle panel is on its way, on the house. Now that's Skeeter service.

mine went out on my 09 and i went by my dealer and they gave me one over the counter with return of bad board. Said they havent came out with a rocker switch replacement for my model because its kinda compact for the rocker switch panel. Hope they do b4 end of warrany

My panel would do the same thing. after skeeter replaced my panel three times i diagnosed it myself i found the relay for the panel is in the fuse box on the floor and my had got wet and corroded the relay. Skeeter then put a new fuse box/relay in (new one was different and now sits 3-4 in off floor) and no more panel problems. looks like skeeter knew about this problem or they would not have changed the design of the fuse box!! The panel is supplies power to main power switch then to the relay then back the panel to all the features. So a bad relay will look like a bad panel if it is not diag coorectly..
