    Transom Problem Fixed!!!!!

There have been and I have contributed to post regarding Skeeter transoms chipping at the lower corners of the jackplate. In our posts we blamed it on everything from loose bolts to wavy transoms. While both may certainly contribute, I was finally able to fix mine by having the jackplate removed and ground a bit at the point where it was digging in. The good folks at Toledo Fiberglass took one look at it and knew exactly what to do. They fixed it for me while installing a Gorilla Hull, which by the way I love. They modified the outside chines a bit which totally eliminated any loss of prop bite in high speed turns, no blow out at the prop. Softer ride also.
