I can see it on mine both on the sonar and the down imaging. Bump your sensitivity up a bit. But like stated above, 2d sonar is where you want to see it.
what they said. you can also make sure 2d is set to 200khz and that youre keeping your bait in the cone
I don't think I have ever seen my bait on the sonar, no matter what sonar I have.Its probably showing up, I just don't know what to look for.

Yep, that's pretty much what I see on mine. One line for the bait and another for the weight.
Yeah I'm not sure a Helix 7 is going to show your bait on the down imaging mode. 2d
I can see crappie jigs on my Helix 10 DI but they have to have really been soaking to show up. I normally have 2d DI split screen with 2d on Max Mode and can see it on 2d all the time but like I said it has to have been down there for a while and right under the TM to show up on DI.
