Trim gage sender clamp - METAL

    All,

I went to my dealer for the annual parts purchase and one of items I had to buy was the trim sender clamp. They are now METAL....

Re: Trim gage sender clamp - METAL (jfdawson)

I was wondering what the part number was for the metal clamp. I have a plastic one right now although it's not broken "YET"...

Good to know, it's about time. I have had to replace a couple of the plastic ones before.

Re: Trim gage sender clamp - METAL (fastlife)

I break one every two years. I got two last year when I replaced it so I have an extra plastic one now. Think I'll get the metal one and not have to worry any more. Is there a big price difference. Plastic ones are only $5.

The think the price was $9-10 for the Kit ( this is the screw and Clamp ).

As for part #, look at the packaging below the clamp... That's the part # for the clamp. Screw part number is the bag on top of the screw in the picture.

I just got the new metal one also, much better. I was told the plastic ones were no longer available.

that may be true, I guess it depends on what dealer you go to. If it's not a busy dealer, chances are they will still have the plastic ones just because they haven't sold them off yet. I got a plastic one early in the summer last year, then a metal one later in the summer.
