    Boat Registration numbers

Just bought a new ZX200 in Dec. waiting on the State to send me the numbers and sticker. I was wanting to know if you all could post some pictures of were you placed the stickers above or below the rubber trim. Going to have the numbers built to match the trim colors of my boat.

I do not want to be a PIA but I noticed in the pictures of your boats that most do not comply with the law. The fancy numbering will not pass a Coast Guard Vessle Exam. Law enforcement and we got lots them that will hand out tickets for improper display of numbers. Just my two cents.
Display the numbers on the front portion of your boat. The Coast Guard requires that the letters be plain, block at least 3 inches high and legible. They can be painted, but purchasing vinyl letters from a marine supply store will provide a cleaner, neater look.

Afix the state sticker within six inches of the registration number, either before or after it.For further details and photos of proper registration number placement, see the article

Almost 7 years, hundreds of days on the water numerous on the water checks by Wildlife officers, sherriffs and courtesy inspections by the coast guard auxillary and never one bit of doubt about my registration numbers being within the law.

Will be going through this very exercise in the early spring and would be interested to see pics of anyone with a 2015 ZX who has lettered their boat.

I had Iguana Graphics make mine to match my boat and the Nitro font
