what do you NOT like about your i-Class ???

I'm about to buy a new boat .. and one that's on my very short list is a 2009 21 i-Class .. there are a LOT of positives for me to get one.

I REALLY don't want to create a thread that gets ugly... but I really need some HONEST feedback from owners.

What - if anything - do you not like about your boat ???

Only thing I dont like about my ZX is being 6'5 tall, its a little tight getting behind the console, shouldnt be an issue for you .

    I have a 2007 21i and really can't complain about anything.Had a problem with the
compartment alarm system a couple of times but Skeeter and my dealer got it straightened out.
You are gonna love the 21i

'06 21i....great boat....the room and the ride are unequaled by any of the other Skeeters...if your a big guy like myself, no other Skeeter has this much room at the console...

If I am not mistaken aren't the 20i and the ZX225 both 20ft 3 in boats? I believe the amount of room is the same.

The room within the consoles is different, there is more leg room in the 20I.

I love mine, eventhough mine had a hull issue, skeeter has stood behind it took it back and refurbed her for me. They also repalaced my trailer fenders, impeller, oilpump upgrade, new locking system, new keypad, and some other items for free as preventative maintainence.

The biggest complaint I hear is that the trailers are not of the quality of the boat. I dont plan on having it more than another year or 2 and I already have an interested buyer for when I leave CO. That stated if I dont buy an Allison next I will have another I class.

Storage is great, decks are huge (especially for a little guy like yourself.) and there are more than enough features to keep any boater happy.

I have heard that the ZX class fishes better, however they do not handle rough water the same. I would say if you wanted a smooth riding boat that is "quick" with a ton of features you wont go wrong with the I class.

If not the ZX may be a better choice. Either way they ride smoother than that chinon your in now.

Get the 109 trolling motor, get the best electronics you want be they SI or HD.

The only thing I would change is I wish I had a hydraulic plate and not a manual. Thats more of a preference than anything though. That and maybe a power pole.

Good luck on whatever you choose sir!

I love my 07 20I the only change I wouldbe other than a hydraulic jackplate is move the front seat pedestal back about six inches. It is a little tite moving around up front with seat pedestal in.

You'll love it. Feel free to give me a call and I'll be glad to answer any specific questions you may have.

PS, I've got a deal on a 08 21 I Class demo with 44 hours on it loaded.

There is more leg room behind the consoles on the previous i-boats, but I believe this extra leg room was lost in the '09 version (thicker seats).

I thought the same thing when I moved from a ZX250 to a 20i. The 20i rides better than my ZX250 did. The steeper entry V cuts water better and the nose stays down better in rough stuff. I was very suprised but my results echoed what I'd been told before I made the switch to the i-class.

Re: what do you NOT like about your i-Class ??? (Neilslure)

The i series rides better in rougher water than the z.

I think they fish the same which is why I own a Skeeter in the first place...the width accross the bow is where you spend most of your time and there is room..
makes it comfortable to fish without stepping on rods etc.
