Buying SX190

I am looking for some information on a 05 SX190 I am looking at buying one low hours with a 150 yamaha. It has two lowrance fish finders and then one lowrance color with gps as well. 74 min kota. He is asking 14,500 for it. The only it doesnt have is I want dual console and a recessed trolling motor pedal. So what do yall think. Decent deal or not.

Sounds like a good deal. I have a single console '04 SX190 that I coulda/shoulda traded off for a 2009 Alpha 211 two months ago. They offered me $14,500 trade in. (Just want a bigger boat, nothing wrong with the SX190, it's a great boat).

I have an 05' and love it. Take a ride and see what you think. You can't add the other console but you can buy an after market tray for the TM. I add two color units, livewell and box lights and other things. Of course like other, i would love to have a bigger boat. That sounds like a good price.

seems to be a fair price to me.last year at this time i was looking for the same boat.i ended up with a 2001 r model ranger dual consol with a 175hp for 14500.00.if i did not have my boat now i would not hesitate to pay 14500.00 for a 2005 model sx190 with a yamaha 150.i owned a ss140 skeeter with 115 hp yamaha.great boat!!!!!!

I know the money is different, but I've got a used 06 zx190 dual console with a 175 HPDI for 21500 if interested. It's loaded with color gps, custom cover, etc. Let me know if interested.

zx models are fine fishing machines.well worth the asking price. if you do not sell your boat by this spring the only reason i can think of is the economy stinks and looks like it may take years for us to come out of this.

I have an '07 SX190 with a four stroke and if I sold my boat today, I'd be looking for $21K. $14.5 K for an'05 sounds fair to me as long as it is in excellent shape (no repairs needed). I'll also tell you that a dual console on this boat takes up a lot of space and I think you would regret a dual in the long run.

One thing I would do is to pay someone to give you the motor hours report and see exactly what "low" hours means. I was tracking my own hours during break in period and I was WAY off! Also take it for a ride. Make your offer on these findings.

If it has the carb 150 there is no way to tell hours unless they installed an hour meter.
