    Storing my ZX210

I live in Michigan so im one of the people who has to put their boat away for the winter unlike some people around here ......What all should be done to the boat before i put it away. The biggest thing im worried about is the mice. Sometimes they get into barns and have been known to eat all the trailer wiring and id really hate to re-wire the entire boat in the spring. Anyone know any tricks to keeping mice away without having to check mouse traps all winter? Ive heard irish spring bar soap keeps them away but im not sure if i believe that. Any help would be nice...Thanks

Moth balls under the motor cowling, under the console, on the deck, and in all the compartments. Wrap them in foil and cut slits in the top. That will keep the mice out of the boat. Dont know about the trailer wiring, althought I would try to find all possible access hole in the trailer tubing and tape foil packets of moth balls over them.

I had mice get into my 9.9 Evinrude and they chewed open the air intake. The Mechanic who cleaned out the motor told me I now had an 11 hp 'rude.

Bounce sheets are also supposed to work and make your compartments smell fresh

Bring it to me, I'll make sure the mice don't bother it this winter.

Thanks guys. What about fogging the motor for storing? Ive had some people tell me its not that important and others tell me different. Ive changed the lower unit fluid added stabil and ran it into the motor, and made sure all the water was out of my livewell pumps so they dont freeze....

I would fog the motor unless you can take it out 1 time every 6 weeks, or are going to run it on the hose

It does not take long and is cheap to do
