i have a chance to become a team skeeter member and wanted to here some pros and cons to being a team guy i am new to this and was wondering is there any questions i should be asking just wanted to here from team guys or some guys that was on the team you can im me if you dont want it posted thanks

TEAM members in return for added discount on the boat are required to work shows, promote the dealer, Skeeter and Yamaha. The more you put in the farther you can move up the sponsorship ladder. Sponsorship=Advertising. Your value is the how you can increase the number of boats you can sell and increase the volume of business for yout sponsoring dealer. You are a representative of the product you support and dealer both on and off the water. Each dealer has different guidelines and requirements.

I might have the same opportunity. The boat discount isn't a huge deal to me. I might keep my boat for another year or two. Working the shows gives me an opportunity to hang out with like minded folks and pick their brain about fishing, tournaments, boats, lures, tactics and more. I think that is the biggest benefit. The free fancy shirts you only wear for tournaments are nice too!
techo, unless something haves change I think your going to have to get a new boat before you get the deal and then will have to turn your boat every year or 2

I know they would like me to pick up the leftover boat (ZX190) they have in the showroom. They are offering a pretty good deal, but not the team discount. My bud last year was on the Team and kept his old boat. He is purchasing a new one this year though.
I keep waffling between picking up the ZX190 they have in the showroom or ordering the ZX200. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but do you have any thoughts?
i think you have to buy a 200 or larger to get team discounts.
Your right on the discount. THe ZX190 is a good price. It is a bit slower though.
