    Jack Plate Bolt Torque

    I have a 12" Slidemaster jack plate. Does anyone know what the bolt torque should be on the sliding portion of the jack plate? Thanks.

    I am new to this to so I asked the same thing a while back and some one told me 90 ft lbs . So I did and my motor has not fell off yet.

    I could be wrong but 90# sounds like a lot. I know that Rapid Jacks only call for 40#.

    Gonna drop my motor a 1/4" this weekend....any one know the correct answer for tightness of these bolts?
