    Skeeter ZX 202c Question

    I just purchased a 1999 ZX202C. After i got it home I noticed that there were no tie down straps from the transom to the trailer. I looked a little closer and discovered there were no hooks on the boat itself, thus no way to secure to the trailer unless I hooked the straps to the jack plate or something. I have never seen a boat with no transom hooks before. Is this normal for this model of boat. I talked to the original owner and he said it was like that from the day he purchased the boat brand new.

    Never mind, it looks like the hooks are on the jack plate. problem solved.

    You have to hook to the jackplate.

    everyone may think i'm nutts, but I hated those straps so badly that I threw mine.
    I haven't used them since I bought my boat, and I have had it 8 seasons now.
    Maybe I am missing something but It was too big of a pain having to take them off and on all the time.

    I know a couple of people that don't use those straps. I use them though. The roads down here in LA are CRAP. And I don't want to hit a pothole one day and look back to see my boat sitting on my fenders.
