Thinking of buying a skeeter and have a few questions please help

Hello everyone I'm new to the skeeter board. I'm about 99.9% percent sure that I will be trading in my nitro for a 2008 zx200 with a 200 HPDI. I have a few questions on upgrades and what I can expect to pay for those upgrades.

Minnkota to Motor guide 82#
Lowrance 135 to 520c
Keel guard
Oxygenerator

What are the benefits of the oxygenerator and is it a have to have option?

If anyone has any advice or suggestion it would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to talk to your dealer about upgrade costs.

But the benefits of the Oxygenator is that this unit producuces oxygen in the livewell and increases the dissolved oxygen amount to keep your fish healthy and alive. I also recommend using the U2 Pro Formula livewell formula with it. Saltwater or salt based catch and release products when submiitted to the electrical plates that break the water into Oxygen and Hydrogen also break down the salt based fish formulas into chlorines which are harmful to fish.

I just got my 2007 zx200 came with 80#minkota and my dealer upgrade console w 480m( no charge ) not color but all the functions of 520c, now i'm going to upgrade to the 520c and put the 480 up front. this upgrade is about 450.00, will make able to share way poinbts. Dont make it 99% sure go and get it , the machine is fantastic, best bass boat ever been in.

Those are all good upgrades, but if the trolling motors have the same thrust, I'd question that one.

Seeing that you are in Kentucky, how far are you from these dealers?

I think Skeeter might have a factory rebate going on right now too.

Think $1000 on a ZX200 plus Yamaha has extended warranty deal. 5 years on HPDI or 6 years on the Series 2. (2000 to 2500 dollar value)

80# minkota is standard for zx 200, 520 up grade is 649 and we move the x-135 to the bow if you want. keel gaurd and oxegenator I would have to check on. If you use chemical product like "please release me and rejuvinate" I dont recommend them for the reasons stated earlier. Give me a call if you have any more questions I can help you with. well the one thing to look foward to is the performance i had a 200 zx last year and loveeeeeeeeed !!!!!!!!! it and i could not imagine a better boat it has plenty of room in it handles like a cadillac and is the perfect size boat. before you buy call the dealership that i went to they were awsome for me and when you deal with these folks you feel like your dealing with friends . i dealt with team marine in mt.juliet t.n. its worth the call no matter where located at and dude you will love the 200 give them a call a price 615-758-7788

Rich, are you saying that the "upgrade" to the 520c, if ordered from Skeeter is $649. Standard is the X135 in dash upgradable to the 520. If Skeeter charges $649 then that's the list for the unit to begain with. Where does the $400 for the X135 thats standard on the boat go? I hope that you're saying that you can add the 520, then move the X135 forward for that price, not just the "upgrade" of the dash unit price. If so what's Skeeter's upgrade dash price only?

My buddy has the MK Maxxum Pro 80# thrust on his ZX190 and it is a great TM. I've had MG before and I prefer MK . IMO, I would stick with MK.

JMO Motorguide, Oxygenator, keel guard i get the 520 for sure. I had the MK and will not go back. no matter what you do "dude your getting a bug boat"
