time for new plugs, lu lube & impeller maintenance on my '04 225ho. i can handle plugs & lube but was wondering how much of a chore the impeller is? special tools, tricks, parts? wp is 2-3 #'s lower this year than last so that's why i'm gonna change it.
Not hard to do, remove the port side motor pan so you can get to the shift rod pin, then make sure you get the water tube back in the top of the housing when you put the gearcase back up.
hmmmm...since i only know what the gearcase is of all the parts you described i think i'll let my dealer do it for me. also, i don't want to do anything that would jeopardize my remaining 4 1/2 yrs of wty. thanks for the info.
