Add your ideas or suggestions to what you would like to see in future models of Skeeters. Anything to help make Skeeters even better in the coming years. We can't promise anything but Maybe we'll get the factory to look at our suggestions.

C channel trailers. (not really a Skeeter issue but they do choose the trailer)..
More thought and engineering on water tight storage...
Steering wheel center caps that do not blow off and disappear...
Molded in fishfinder's look nice but do not leave you much for options if you change brands or sizes....
Maybe just take rod locker locks off all together.....This way they cannot break and we won't complain.....
These are just a few issues.....I with out a doubt LOVE my boat and the brand....I will probably own nothing but Skeeters.....BUT you asked![]()

For us poor folks with the cheap models, jackplates, better locking mechanisms, recessed troll trays. That's it for now.

How about more quality control at the factory?
Like trim mounting screws that actually go into the fiberglass rather than running beside the edge, letting the radio bounce out of the mount the first time you cross another boat's wake.
Or mounting screws for trim that are actually long enough to go into the fiberglass and anchor.
How about windshield supports that are not so cheap that they pull apart in rough water? I've been through three of 'em so far.
Oh yeah, and the famous steering wheel center cap that fell out in my lap the first trip out. Can't blame that one on rough water or another boat's wake. It was Dec. 10 and I was the only one on the lake w/no wind.
How about a better configuration/match between boat, motor, and prop so the boat doesn't porpoise any time you try and trim it up, or are in rough water?
Bigger livewells with better aerator systems on the F&S
Better utilization of the storage space available.
I know us Fish & Ski owners are the bastard children of the Bass Boat industry, but Skeeter makes 'em and you asked!![]()

The only thing I would add, and it's something that most manufacturers need to focus on, is to add easier/safer way(s) to board the boat while you're on the launch and the trailer is in the water. For those that launch solo the majority of the time it's always a delicate balancing act trying to climb in the nose of the boat.
I'm looking forward to my next boat. It's gonna be an i-class and the front step pad is bigger than the ZX's. 2 steps with a grab handle of some sort would be awesome. Their is plenty of room up there for something. Even if it were an optional feature it would be a big plus!
A built in plate at the front to prevent stress cracks from the trolling motor.
A cooler that actually stays cool.
Built in drains in the topcap and floor so when you wash the boat water doesn't always pool up in the same spots. A small hole and line would do it.
An option to ditch the fold down center seat and replace it with a storage bin or cooler.
Dry storage under the driver's seat.
A lock down spot for an extra prop.
Straps instead of bungees for rod tie downs.

How about a system or vendor that can handle the ordering of parts online. Everytime I need something for my boat around here it is like pulling teeth.
One local dealer stopped dealing with Skeeter and the other one will only sell you a part if a new boat is attatched to it and you can't order direct.![]()

I've been extremely happy with my 07' ZX190 but I would like to see these changes.
1. Option for a C channel trailer
2. Straps instead of bungee for rod tie downs
3. On ZX models or above fiberglass fenders should be standard.
Consistant placement of grab handles for the co-angler.
Stronger trolling motor mount area and running light area...to minimize gel fractures.
Clean up the wiring under the console and battery area.
Better seats for rough water ride (like the SRS seats...those are amazing!)
Make it so the screws that attach the hull to the cap don't back out over time.
Allow the customer to purchase directly from Skeeter for parts as some of the dealers out there aren't the best to deal with after the sale of the boat for that stuff...if you know what I mean. I've had to buy stuff from out of state because my dealer either doesn't stock it or it will take them 6 months to get it because they are lazy.
Test the boat thoroughly before they hit the market. Hearing stories about the 20i models when they first came out having porpoising problems is plain unacceptable! Skeeter should build and outfit a boat for each mold for each model they build and R&D that boat for a minimum of 100 hours loaded light, medium and heavy (real world fishing equipment and partners stuff, ice, fuel fuel and oil, livewells full etc). This way they could fix the above stated problem as well as problems such as on my zx250 where water comes from either the bilge or livewells up to the co-anglers feet when running a chop to rough water and other annoying problems I've encountered after 100 hours or so in EACH Skeeter I've owned.
I also add the cooler suggestion. AZ is very hot!

number 1: better seats SAS seats suggested
2: cooler that holds Ice better
3: a High Output engine from Yamaha
Please start training the fish to swim alongside the SX models like they do on the ZX and I-Class models - Thanks for leaking that information out Toypuller![]()

What......
You mean the fish do not swim along side the sx models like they do on my I-class. I thought that was a standard feature.![]()
Ok, now for a serious thought.
1. THe leaky underseat storage on the sx models should go. It serves no useful purpose that way it is now.
2. Make the bow and console more adaptable to better electronics. (sx models)

check out the FAQs I set up. Maybe there's something in there.
I know alot of guys have problems figuring out their livewells at first. Maybe better literature for boat functions and accessories...perhaps a PDF file on their site.
I'm with Toy Puller on all that he Posted![]()
Move the front pedestal seat post back about 2-3 inches on the 20i. Fix the auto locks and alarm locks.
Hum................ Nothing but thanks for asking..![]()
2 pedestal seat holes up front, not just one.( like Triton ). It helps us shorter guys!!!![]()

Well said and written. Unfortunatley I have one of those 2006 20i's that porpoises like crazy at slow speeds and all the other stuff that came with that boat. When you pay that kind of money for a boat like that ,you would think the R & D work would have been done up front and there should not have to be any major stuff to worry with and would having a cooler that would hold ice In TN weather be too much to ask for, I don't think so. The 06 20i is a disappointment to me and if I had it to do over again , I would still be driving my ZX202 which was just as fast or faster and actually handled better than this one
