My New Skeeter - 1967 Super Skeeter

I just picked up the new to me - 1967 Super Skeeter. it is getting ready to start restoration tonight! Pretty sound but needs lots of elbow grease. It was purchased new by the Uncle of the man who I got it from. He was orginally from Kilgore, TX. Nice to know some history. I plan on updating pics as "Project: Super Skeeter" moves along.

Washed her off and the orginal color came out some. I have friend in the Glass Business were are getting ready to go see once we get the wheels and hubs checked out. He's told me he would help get started in the right and correct direction with the fiberglass restoration.

As much as I love my Yamaha's (Wonder what twin 350 HPDI's would make her run like ?), I'm going to have to put my 1955 Oliver K15 on the back. I have a Humminbird Super60 Flasher and Papergraph, MinnKota CDR and HDR Trolling Motors, It will have that classic appeal.

Where you at the dealer meeting to see the "Museum" they had of Skeeters. That was really cool to see Harold Allens old Skeeter with today's electronics, etc.

What do you think time and money it will take to restore it? We've been thinking about finding a few OLD boats and doing something like that for our store.
