    Power Tech Props

Anybody running a power Tech? They claim that thier Lifter Series is similar to to Yamaha's Prop Series. I need a new prop and have been told that the 21K Pro Series is a good choice, but was wondering about the Power Tech.

    Re: Power Tech Props (Landinlunkers)

I ran a Powertech TRO-4 for years on my ZX and they are very nice. Good holeshot and descent acceleration. The best thing about the TRO-4 is the handling, it is the best so far on my ZX and I have ran alot of props. Top-end is pretty good too!

But I think it wont work well on a 115 hp.... The Laser2 or Yamaha K series would be better I think. Just like Jasons boat Bill... Jason had a tro4 on his 90 merc and it sucked. The tro4 is better suited for the 150+ hp motors.

The PTR-3 is a good lifting prop. I ran a 22p on my 115/166 Skeeter. I needs to run super high, but since a plate voids your boat's warranty (and mine too!), it may not work. Your motor/boat combo should have come with the 21K like mine did. I run that prop and it is great. Had it modified by Mark.

    Re: Power Tech Props (skeeter166)

Alright.......21K it is. The boat is new to me and I'm not sure what's on it now, but it ain't stainless. It doesn't get enough bow lift to get up on pad. It actually seems to get more lift at 4,000rpm than it does at WOT.

    Thanks for the input guys
