I was just wondering what my boat/motor/trailer weigh with a tournament load if equipment and full tank of gas? I have a 150hpdi motor on the back and a single axle trailer.

2016 ZX225 75.2mph stock!
Figure 3700# or so on the trailer full of gas and 2200# loaded to fish.![]()
1994 PROCRAFT 180 Dual Pro / MERC 150 EFI
1500lbs for hull
479lbs for the motor
36 gallons of gas @ 6lbs per gallon = 216 lbs
trolling motor probably weighs 50-60lbs
3 batteries at 50lbs each = 150lbs
more fishing gear than you really need= 150 lbs
misc. crap that we all seem to acquire = 40lbs
That comes out to about 2600 lbs then you add two guys at an average of 200 lbs each and you got 3000 lbs. If you are talking about total trailered weight then I would guess after you add in the weight of the trailer itself, spare tire, etc. and substract the 400lbs for bodies then you are at about 3500 lbs.
I just towed my ZX190/VMax 150 from Phoenix Az to Mountain Home. I stopped and weighed the boat and trailer in Texas and it weighed 3,040 lbs on the axle and 220 lbs on the lounge for a total of 3,260. This included both seats, approximately 60 lbs of gear, full oil tank, and 30 gal gas. If you are near the limit for towing without trailer brakes 4,000 in TX and 3,500 other states, it is a good idea to get a certified weight ticket in case you are stopped. Didn't need it this time but have in the past and it will save you a ticket or worse yet having to park the boat until you can prove it is not over weight.
