I am looking at possibly purchasing a 20ft ZX model Skeeter and thought I read somewhere on here that opinion's were that the 03-05 were maybe the best year ZX225 models. I am currently in a 97 ZX185c and just looking to get a nice 20fter without the new 20fter priced.

i dont think you can go wrong with many 20 foot Skeeters. i think they went to all composite in 02??? but i may be wrong. they are all solid boats. ive fished from an 04 225 and it was a great boat. ive ridden in a 250 and it rode even better. all nice boats

Thx Chris. At least I think I will start looking after 2002 for a nice deal. Was looking in the window from 03-05, maybe for the price.

No question that the 2007 model year ZX225 is the best year ever. I has many of the features that the I-Series boats had last year like the modular consoles. The 20I hull is under the ZX225 too. I guess you could get into a 2006 demo for around $6000 less.
